“To fall in close flakes. In a quarter of an hour, the snow with countless little strokes and with its own whiteness erased the whiteness of the church of frost. And the brands slowly bowed beneath the immense weight of light flakes. The silence of snow is different from that of frost. It is a silence that effaces everything, even shapes, even human beings.
The sound of our voices changes and bent, too, beneath the whiteness, while the flakes piled on our clothes and hats. Then, without conferring with each other, we left as one along the pilgrims` path, a trace of which could still be made our from a slight depression in the snow.
I turned one last time toward the clearing. Already the flakes were busy erasing our steps in a kind of quiet rustling so that no one could ever follow us and return to the clearing in search of some trace of the extraordinary event we had just witnessed. Besides, frost and footsteps in the snow belong to the ephemeral. The tangible evidence of a miracle can. . .”

Meruert explores the creation of a floral print together with AI tools, resembling the tangled world around us, as we drift through lift and existence searching for our sense of self. Connections of art through its emblematic sense synonymous with nature in its broad meaning, and it’s biology, is seen in the print and blocking of fabrics
A soothing color way is chosen throughout the collection in earth tones and splashes of color, blending fabrics and textures together to create a synergy between the clean lines and raw finishes of garments. Textures and florals are explored in a variety of mediums, from print to weave to applique, not ignoring construction and inner detailing of the garments, and creating balance and equilibrium.
Throughout the collection Meruert reminds us to recall the quirky details of the brand and its whimsical essence in its deliverance, and storytelling.

Inspired by childhood memories, and evenings spent in the rose garden of her grandparents home, Meruert Tolegen – an idea – comes to life.
An echo of laughter in the distance, faces rushing past, a memory once ever clear, all paint the scenes in hues and colors. Recollections of savor, scents wafting about, and the feel of compositions and textures all imprint on our minds, creating an atlas of memories.
