Throughout the Fall | Winter 2023 season Meruert Tolegen carries in a new wave of feelings and emotions,tying them to the nostalgic feeling of time passing. Each piece is created with a depth of emotions experienced

through time, conveying a recourse of experience through textures and overlays. Meruert works to create a selection of garments in mixed media using technqiues to layer materials and combine them together throughout the pattern. She brings in pleating and fabric manipulation, and ties it in throughout the collection, composing a symphony where each garment plays onto the next. Florals and color appear in the FW 23 season in hues of dusty pink and warm nude. They are woven into a tapestry of the mixed media coat, while the colorful hues find themselves as garment details as well as full pieces.
